WE LISTEN | WE INNOVATE | WE DELIVER
We solve our clients' most important financial management issues through delivery excellence in providing professional services grounded in strong project management, technical quality, and continual improvement. We strive to maintain an open culture, in which everyone is a hands-on contributor, everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas and opinions, and each is accepting of the views and opinions of others to work in a truly collaborative manner. We want to be viewed as the gold standard by which all others are measured, leading our market as a high-performing team while adhering to our corporate values, ethical boundaries and code of conduct. TFC frequently shares its expertise by partnering with many small, medium, and large professional services firms, including global leaders. Such partnering arrangements allow us to draw upon a wide range of additional technical breadth and staff reach-back to support our clients. Using these relationships helps build on the strengths of both TFC and its partners and ensures that we can preserve institutional experience when possible for new engagements or clients.
TFC is a certified participant in the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) business development program and a small disadvantaged business headquartered in Washington DC Metro area. TFC can leverage our size, diversity, and inclusiveness to open doors for our partners.

TFC is more than just the services we offer and products we produce. Our company is made up of people who care about their community. Through volunteering and charitable giving, we provide support that strengthens the community. We encourage our employees to take on leadership roles and apply their time and experience to furthering good causes.
“Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It’s important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It’s the way in which we ourselves grow and develop.” – Dr. Dorothy Height
In addition to charitable donations, TFC offers opportunities for employees to volunteer for community outreach. Below are some organizations and company-sponsored events that TFC has been involved in.
United Services Organization (USO)
TFC is proud to partner with the USO in support of their mission to serve the needs of the men and women who serve our country in military service as well as their families and caregivers. The combined efforts of twenty-five TFC volunteers and USO helped prepare 1,041 care packages for service members and their families. The care packages contained items ranging from toothbrushes, dental floss and other personal hygiene items to snacks like trail mix and beef jerky.
Autism Speaks Walk
TFC was a sponsor of the Autism Speaks Walk, held October 1, 2016 at the National Mall. Autism Speaks is an autism advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities. The funds they raise support autism research, advance advocacy, provide family services, raise awareness, and allow quality programs that assist the growing number of people diagnosed with autism.
TFC Tycoons Soccer League
Our company-sponsored co-ed soccer team, the TFC Tycoons, meets on Friday evenings, to compete in a 7 vs 7 soccer league. The team is in its second season, already with a number of victories! In addition to competitive soccer, there is a relaxed social aspect to the league which fosters great team camaraderie, followed by a happy hour bar! Go TFC Tycoons!
TFC Wellness Challenge
TFC’s on-going company wellness initiative is the “Journey Around the World” Fitbit Challenge. The challenges provide a supportive, positive climate of fun and camaraderie to help our employees adopt or maintain a healthy way of living. All participants are given a Fitbit Charge HR and grouped into teams as they race around the globe. We award our participants various prizes based on activity level and progress, such as highest number of steps, most improved, etc.
TFC Paintball Team Building Event
For this past annual team building event, TFC employees selected paintball. The two teams – Harter's Assassins and Stancato's Snipers – worked together with their respective teammates in a sink-or-swim environment to achieve the ultimate goal – victory. To win, the teams had to develop the best strategy for capturing and controlling the oppositions’ territories and flag stations, while simultaneously defending their own flags and their teammates. The teams demonstrated stealth, quick-thinking, cooperation, and communication. In the end, after seven games on four different themed obstacles, the Harter's Assassins won. The finale event was "Running the Gauntlet", which allowed the teams a chance to shoot at running director and managers.
Annual In-Service Training
Each year, TFC hosts an In-Service Training event for its employees. These events are part of TFC’s commitment to our employee’s professional development, in addition to providing a forum for our staff to meet to exchange ideas and experiences. The training also provides our employees the opportunity to learn more about the firm and leading practices. Topics in our most recent training event included updates to OMB Circular A-123, How to Network, and Quality Assurance/Control. We also had a guest speaker who was a former federal CFO provide his perspective on contracting as well as his experience and expectations working with contractors.
